have spent some time cleaning up the swing arm after removing the bearings and spacer, removed the ignition cover, clock mounts, which i also gave a good rub down and prep and some other bits ready for taking to the powder coaters when they re open after the Christmas break.
once i have these bits back i will get the wheels in for coating white.

Slim, If i dont like the tank with the twin filler, I can always re fit the tank that is on it now, as i am keeping that as it is  I am thinking of doing the filler black anodize so it wont be so "bling" as for the seat mate, bike was built with the aim of carrying my girlfriend, so all i am doing is making it better for her to be on for when we go for long rides. going with this as the final idea  |

made a cheeky offer on a GSXR 600 K4 clutch last night before going to bed, got an acceptance e-mail this morning so clutch will get modded when i do the head swap. |

just got off the phone to the coaters, parts are in the oven as we speak, so will be off later this afternoon to get them looking to get some work done on bike soon, just had too much to do around the house recently have ordered some s/steel cam cover bolts from e-bay, engine only had 4 fitted when i got it, so now it will have a full set of 8. soon as i have the cash i will get the wheels and sprocket carrier in to the coaters for a nice coat of white. |

all back and good as new, have cleaned them up and removed over coat from threads   clutch looks nice and clean  |

today was taken up with stripping down the GSXR head, I was just going to rub it down and de grease before painting, but changed my mind, so it will be done properly now and get sent off for blasting of some sort!
will then re build (after painting) with new valve stem oil seals,
will also need to replace 4 of the valve depressors (dont know propper name!), as the face that the cam runs on are badly worn on them, just as well that i made the decision to strip the head down!
will have to check and see if the GSXR and Bandit depressors are interchangeble, would be a big help if anyone knows?.
