I know it's your bike but please don't put a window in the other hole, Put another filler or a blanking plate or a breather, anything but a window !! BTW, What are you doing regarding a breather ?

I took the fuel filler round to my mates yesterday for a chat about some work to get done to it, we have agreed to 1) removing the webs between bolt holes 2) removing around 8mm from the bottom face to allow it to sit lower when it is fitted 3) make a blanking plate to fit instead of the window, so i can fit either 4) make a mild steel mounting plate to weld to the tank for the filler to bolt too 5) drill and tap a breather mounting point on the plate will post some pics as and when things are done

So what would be the purpose of a window on the filler anyway?

So what would be the purpose of a window on the filler anyway? think it is supposed to be a bit like the windows on clutch and ignighter covers. was like that when i got it, but will see how it looks once fitted.

got an idea of changing the seat a bit, to make it more pillion friendly, means making the hump longer so pillion has more to sit on. have done a very ruff picture hack to give an idea of what direction i might go, but thinking of making the rear around 1" lower than in the pic? this is how she is this is the way i am thinking of going, thoughts? ideas?

I like the the cut out for the rider and a bigger seat , don't know if a colour on the rear will make it look like a single seat ?

White sides, black on the arse area. That way it should disappear in the present paint scheme and look more solo seat.??

now what you mean, i was thinking more of it matching up to the bodywork at both ends, so top of the seat black and bottom/sides white, if you see what i mean!

White along the whole side of the seat. I think if you go along that route then imo keep the wheels black, but with just the rear seat white then you should get away with white wheels. All black seat either colour wheels.
