I once went to buy a classic mini s and looked at the sills and a panels and something didn't look right as there were nut shapes on there so I tapped them and they fell off they were made off paper mache all the sills and a panels ? Proper skill So that's why you didn't want to buy my mini then lol

Anyhow does your cases now need splitting to de-swarf?" No, its a blind hole the stud fits in and I covered the piston holes to stop any shit falling in.

Lol, I didn't buy them !! They are 83 mm, I've brought a set of used standard 81mm busa pistons which came out of a bike with just over 7k on the clock. Gonna fit new rings but as they are they cost me £103 with import fees. Still not a cheap modification but very worthwhile when completed.

Finally got the tap through today so out in the cave and 20 mins later thread cut, insert inserted and stud fitted. Also got couple of gaskets through for the wastegate. Not a lot happening with this in December due to Christmas playing havoc with my bank balance. Just gonna get some pj1 vht gloss black paint and make a start on the valve cover, head and engine block, gonna go silver on the barrels.
