All I'm missing on the turbo kit is the wastegate outlet pipe. Seen some from JDM motorsports which I can cut and profile to the exhaust. Waiting to hear back about a potential Bandit swap for the Gsxr.

He was Slovakian!! This guys English. He likes the GSXR so going to do the deal hopefully on Wednesday. Took the GSXR to this guy about a 10 days ago, had a ride on the Bandit, nothing special, pretty standard apart from the exhaust. 29k on the clock, some extras like rack and a stubby exhaust. Then I got the GSXR out and the bloody thing wouldn't start, Wouldn't bump either, could smell fuel and it started the previous day?!?!? So I brought it back with me, ordered new set of plugs after lifting the tank and removing plugs and seeing they were a bit sooted up. Fitted new plugs Saturday and first push of the button she started. So called the guy today and he's very interested in doing a swap so fingers crossed I'll come back with a Bandit ready to start pulling apart and fitting the turbo to.

Went to Colchester today and swapped the GSXR for a mk1 1200 Bandit. Runs, rides and stops, MOT till April 2016. Now the tear down starts, will get some pics up throughout the process. Also got the extended swinger through as well

Here's some pictures of the Bandit I picked up and the extended swingarm, The twin dominator headlights will be removed as I can't stand them, all anodised bolts will be removed in exchange for stainless, the handlebars will be going and I'm thinking flat bars would be the direction I want to go in. For some odd reason its got 4 rear indicators!!?? Ignore the exhaust because I won't be needing one. The swingarm has been extended by 8 inches and came with a nice torque arm as well. Sat it next to my old Bandits swingarm to see the difference.

I've just had a turbo lesson, it's made all the complex looking gubbings a bit easier to understand for me
