still waiting on the head oiler hose to come, missed the post, so will have to go to the collection office in the morning. took the wheels to the powder coaters, gave them the dot head to get vapor blasted at the same time. couldnt resist it, so went on E-bay and just got a set of CBR1000rr discs to replace the CBR600rr ones that i have fitted at the moment. I am going to need to do a selling spree soon, to get rid of all the excess bits sat around the garage/shed, and to put some money back in the build fund. not heard from the upholsterer this week yet!

Retrieved the hose from the post office, cut it to size and fitted the ends, got it all sorted, I like the result but would look better if i could find a twin banjo to attach/join the hoses together at the rear rocker inlet, instead of having to use two banjos! anyone know of anywhere that might do them? I have lookd but cant find anyone!

Nice job bud. I'm a little sceptical as to the effectiveness of these links unless you have a direct oil feed to them. I'm sure you've done your homework though so don't let me put you off.

I'm using the oil feed from the crankcase gallery as when fitting heavy duty studs the studs are thicker then the og items ( the og studs are tapered to aid the passage of oil ) and partially restrict flow of oil so I'm taking a feed from the bottom with a twin banjo one for turbo bearing feed one to supply top end

Quazi, thats why i am fitting the extra line to the cam cover oil feed, from what i have read, the normal "cam" link is all but useless for extra oiling, it is just a nice bit of bling, unless it is connected to a better oil feed, my homework pointed me in the direction that i have taken. but there are other ways, but they use longer hoses.

todays work was to change out the B12 spring washer clutch over to the GSXR 600 five spring one. all went together very easily, works nice and smoothly, feels nice and light at the lever. started to clean up the exhaust, have rubbed down the headers ready for a polish.

got the CBR1000RR discs i ordered today, very good condition, look almost new, just a small bit of pitting where they have been sat with the pads touching the disc surface, cleaned up to almost new state. got the hose and banjos for the top oiler, will do that in a day or two.
