Looking really good. I prefer the window myself. You need to enter the Practical Sportsbikes specials competition ..... she'll definitely get my vote

What's happening about the recess in the tank I front of the filler?? I like no window. That dash looks a bit impressive.

sorted rear caliper fitment, bled it, then put rear sprocket carrier on so i could line up the chain guide rubber so i could fix it in place. also found out the hard way how to remove super glue from new powder coat!!! I managed to spill some onto the newly powder coated swing arm, as you can guess it looked shit with fogging and dull marks where i had attempted to quickly rub it off. made an attempt with some different cleaning agents with no luck, then tried t cut, no improvement, metal polishing paste didnt work either, but i eventually found that with a bit of elbow grease i got there with Brasso. took a bit of work, but got there in the end, and now have the swing arm looking as good as new.

left the seat at the upholsterers, he is going to re shape to my design, then give me a call so i can go check it is what i want, then once happy he will go ahead and do the cover. will check out what he has in the way of covering material, but think I will just go with the smooth black vinel I have had a seat done by him before, plus i know some other guys that have, none of us has any complaints about his work, so fingers crossed for a good job

mate of mine at work had obtained a bag of 10 LED push in side light bulbs, as he didnt need all of them i took two off his hands, fitted on to the GS whilst i had the h/lamp apart. hope it lasts longer than the standard s/light bulbs usualy last, for such a small thing it has a very bright output, well impressed will be fitting the other to the hornet when i can be bothered.

got the oil way fittings to put the hose to the cam link, just need to get some small hoses made up now. got the wheels ready to take round the corner to the tyre fitter place to get the tyres dismounted, got the bearings, discs and dust seals removed. called the upholsterers last thing Friday, said he had been snowed under with work last week, but would have mine shaped ready for my inspection sometime this coming week. ordered some fittings for my crank case breather.
