Well he came round in the end. Seemed a good bloke (was recommended by my mate) and for a pitched roof garage about £15-16k but a tad cheaper with a flat roof. However the tiles wont match and will look odd because our existing tiles are no good for 15deg pitch. So It looks like it will be a flat roof. That will make the cats happy, plus I will be able to get to the side window and guttering at last.
