It will be nice once finished inside. Will you be painting the walls to make it nice and light inside? Leccy feed from the house? I'm gonna just paint the walls white, pasterboard and insulate the roof and sort out the uneven floor. There's electric from the old garage which I chopped off so we'll see how my reconnection efforts go.

That'll be a cracker mate, bet you can't wait! You're right, I can't. It's funny how some blocks and timber can excite a middle aged man.

Great thread. I like it.
What are you going to do for the main door ? Timber ? Steel ?
What's good is you can bolt / lock it from the inside and exit via the door nearest the house. I have steel pins that drop into slots so its near impossible to open the big door when its locked from the inside. Means the smaller door is the only one to make secure.

I'm going to give it a few days to go off properly then fit an electric roller shutter. I don't really know how secure it will be until it's installed so some extra security measures may be required. I did think about fitting an alarm system but maybe that'll make scumbags think there's something worth nicking inside.

I have roller door at the moment. I drilled the frame on both sides. When I'm not around I push two long bolts / lengths of bar in and it stops anyone from forcing the door up even if they beat the locks.

Are you going to put in a false ceiling / line / insulate the roof ? Just going to whack up some plasterboard and loft insulation then paint it white.
