Were the hell is this crap coming from?? Rubber breaking down?? It's all new. Maybe crap in the auxiary tank? But it's clean. That inline filter will eliminate Fuel contamination but if it isn't that then I don't know. I could stick my tank on instead as that has a filter on the tap. Anyhow look at this shit. My ultrasonic tank DOES work btw lol

Ooooooo is there a filter where the fuel pipe joins the carbs a little press in one ? If not put a filter on and try it ? To be honest I had to keep cleaning carbs on efe till it settled

No. Well I'm 99% sure it was just a hole last time I looked. I've got a couple of pipe brushes I could run through the fuel pipe. The pilot jets are blocked again aswell. It seems it takes a few days to settle but I reckon if it's started daily it might not happen given it started after a frost straight away.

Fired up after I cleaned the plugs . The throttle seemed a bit all or nothing lol, had to hold the throttle at idle, no idea where that crap is coming from though. I'll try and start the biatch each day for the rest of the week and see what happens. Oh whilst the carbs were off I checked the thread on the throttle idle.....what thread?? Smoother than Duncan goodhew.

Should be the perfect size for that M6 tap then.

How do you define cleaning the carbs properly?? They've been separated, ultrasonically cleaned, compressed air through passageways, fuel dipped cotton bud cleaning nooks and crannies. Visual inspection with a torch shows them to be spotless each time after cleaning?. We use fairy liquid so that'll take a while if the advert is to be believed lol. I was thinking about the jerry can but that was new and plastic. I cant see anything in the fuel when it's in the auxiliary tank though. I'm going to see if if starts again in a minute and later I'll see what happens if I start using the fuel tank as that's filtered and it's a new standard tap and filter too (well was new in 2013).

Fairy liquid contains a lot of salt. Maybe you've got some residue left.

Too late, already started it again. The last time I put them in the tank is was water only. Then rinsed and then used the airline blowing all moisture out. I have carb cleaner but after seeing how it eats away at rubber I'm reluctant to use it any more. I got it running again but it took ages and no 4 (or 1 ? Left side) fired up last instead of all four like last time.

Sounds all knocky? But when I stick my ear to a screwdriver I don't hear it, however when I stick it on the carbs they're noisy as feck.

They seem far noisier than before when I was riding it. Maybe a fine balance will sort that? I don't expect quiet just smoother
