Fitted the 16 psi wastegate spring today so off out testing boost tomorrow if the weather plays ball !? It says rain stops early morning and cloudy the rest of the day, will wait and see but I'm optimistic. So since fitting the turbo I've done about 470 miles and had the head off twice now due to oil leaks !! Had a slight weep from the bottom of the clutch casing spacer which I hope is sorted now as well. It's still not running quite right but that's enough messing with the carbs now till it goes on the dyno.

That's the thing eh when wanting something different, you find different problems that need sorting, you'll get it there eventually if you don't decide to chuck it off Beachy Head.

I haven't had any of those thoughts yet but there's always time!! At least it keeps me busy though and it should be sorted before end of April when Henstridge bike meet takes place. You can run your bike up the runway for £2, no timing or anything just a bit of fun.

Not heard of this before .Iam off for the first two dates, might have a look with my R1. Had a drag across a top of a dyke in holland last year on my 1000 K2, struggled to get past 150 because of no fairing and my neck muscles straining.

I only see this the other day, I'll be taking the turbo as it would of been set up by then

Took the turbo for a thrashing up the motorway last night and on boost it wants to rip my arms off!! Boosting at around 16psi now but the needles bouncing too much to get an accurate reading. Done over 500 miles on so far and I'm sooo looking forward to getting it set up correctly on the dyno, only a week and 2 days to go.

If you do it again turn round at the junction to mine. If you do it between 9 & 10pm I'll probably hear you lol. Well I would if you kept hooning past that junction.

Right, turbo's on the dyno this Thursday so get your BHP @wheel predications in for a bit of fun. Engines bored out to accept hayabusa pistons, td04 turbo and boosting at around 16 psi. To give you a base line, a turbo Bandit running standard pistons and 8psi gives out about 170 bhp@ wheel. A non turbo standard Bandit 1200 is about 98 BHP.
My prediction is 238 BHP (hopefully)

Id say 250 16 psi is good boost they normally reckon 1 psi per bhp so it would be 250 plus. It will be good mate

Before I got down to the bottom on Antiks post I was going to say 238, oh well I'll go midway and say 248bhp.
