You could leave it or throw a set of piston and rings in for peice if mind Yea that's what I was thinking. Do you need to get 2 stroke barrels honed?? Never used to on my LC.

I can't remember if rg were plated or normal , usually I just measure the bore inspect for damage and give them a quick honing will do , I used to use one of those ones that you put in a drill that look like push bike brake shoes before ,

I thought I read the other day that the NS400r was the first to use Nikisil plating, and what a pain in the fooking arse it was too. Good ridance. Looking inside they don't appear to be. Was thinking of getting one of them honing things and having a practice on my knackered slabby barrels..

Someone on the rg forum just said they love the front sprocket. As I haven't looked yet I zoomed in on the pic, oh dear! Classic poor mans maintenance lol, the thing is hooked then turned around. Heavy duty items will be gracing this baby. I'm thinking just regular silver for the chain unlike the gold on my slabby. Not sure a gold chain will suit the bike?
Looking at parts prices and if I do the top end as a precaution I'm looking at around £600 for everything. That'll be a sorted on the road rg for £1400
