Not sure if this is taboo on here or not ?
CARS. There, I've said it!
Some of us love them too, some hate them. Some wont have one. Some of us need them.
I've seen threads on other forums where many bikers are real petrol-heads and love their cars too.
Others need them for work or family dutys, Vans or race bikes, cars to tow bike trailers.
What you got ? Anything interesting ? Any favourites or hates ?

My wife's Ford Territory. We had it last Easter, we were heading away for the weekend. It was two weeks old. I was driving. Wasnt a heap of fun but I thought "this is a hell of a lot better than being on a bike in this situation!" Mrs had cracked ribs.

I've got a 03 l200 warrior I bought it for 500 quid 6 years ago it had been stood near waterfall in Wales so it was all green it had the timing belt and balence belt snapped so I bought it , 190,000 on the clock now on l200 the valves are strong they don't bend but it breaks the rocker arms instead so I bought the rocker arms replaced the belts and crank sensor and then ran it for a year until the con rod went through the block so I bought a old pajero for 500 with 260,000 on the clock put that block in my l200 then sold the pajero scrap back then I got 400 scrap and the jeep has ran ever since , mint on diesel great off road costs me nothing .

I had a Mitsubishi Triton dual cab ute for a few years. I put over 200,000k's (125,000 miles) on it. 3ltr V6 Auto, went OK. Tough old bugger. Worked hard on site and never given much love. Downside was it had a turning circle like a supertanker and drank fuel at a quite alarming rate when I booted it.

Mine was 3000cc petrol with an auto box and normally had a tray full of work tools !! I'm looking at another ute in the future, but next time it'll be single cab (2 door) turbo diesel, and with an aluminium tray not a style side back. Better for work. Done OK with Mitsubishi's. got an old Lancer I bought in 2004 or 2005 and the thing just keeps going. Big mileage, no attention, just keeps going on and on.

I've got a 14 year old Golf TDi that I hardly use. Boring but cheap to run.
The Mrs hast got a 1.6 Focus.....also very boring.
I'd love a big old Jag but I can't justify the expense for something that wouldn't get much use.
