Preparing to start up the generator for their festive illuminations for the wife? She cracks me up, every year we go through the same thing, like fooking blackpool is in in here, I'm sure the street lights dim when she turns them all on. Ha ha. Now we don't have anything outside, only every fucking where inside, garlands round the door frames, up the stairs, over the fire places, the lot. Like santa's grotto in here, and they've got the cheek to say we never grow up!

But its NOVEMBER!!! I did say "preparing" won't be until next week. I put me foot down and refuse anything until it's December at least, otherwise it's handbags at dawn!

I have a fake optic fibre tree a female friend brought round a couple of years ago. It's been stood in the corner ever since.............. and I don't switch it on. I don't need an imaginary friend and a book of fiction to tell me what to do, I just wonder why people can't be decent to each other the other 50 weeks of the year.

I've bought some fairy lights for my work buggy Wont put them on 'til the week before though. Working christmas day too. Well, "On call" anyway. I get a luxury lodge all to myself, double time + tips and a free dinner. Lets hope this doesn't happen

Two weeks before then the tree goes up. No tinsel or anything like that though!
Oh, and the token bowl of miniature heroes and celebrations.

I put some lights up on the back deck a couple of years back. They are still there. I turn them on at Xmas, birthdays, my wedding, Australia Day. Every time I do there's seem to be a couple less working.
