managed to get some shed time yesterday, didn't do anything on the slingshot, but had a look at the engine I picked up on sunday. loosely put the engine back together to check if its all there, couple of head washers missing otherwise fine. Had to gash the alternator cause it was sticking. otherwise rest of the engine turned by hand and seemed fine. The bandit barrels look good, but it has 1156 on the side not 1157. bit confused over that, Iam sure somebody will point me in the right direction. --- , edit , just looked at wiki and"some early production 1995 models do have 1,156 cc cast into the block ". New bandit head gasket in packing. New camchain in box, good condition 19 row cooler with goodridge braided lines and fittings. And a slabby gsxr750 H cooler which seems good. The lines for this have a small kink in them but are oil tight.
I think once my slingshot is finally on the road I might have a go at doing a 1216 engine to put in it.
whats peoples thoughts regarding a 1216 motor over a good 1127?

That's a good buy mate some goodies there , build the 1200 throw it in see what it's like you can always throw the other engine back in , you've got some goodies bro
