Hi, I've been drag racin air cooled VWs for a lotta years. There are a lot of similarities. I've seen these motors get really really hot. Hot enough to where the crankcase and heads lose their structural integrity. To the point the threaded holes will no longer hold, and the valve seats won't stay in in the heads. So yeah, air cooled motors can overheat. But, if the state of tune is good, I think it would take excessive idling without moving in really hot weather to become a problem. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: www.hdforums.com/forum/sportster-models/992807-stupid-question-can-air-cooled-engines-overheat-2.htmlCryptocurrency Advertising
