Question on the cooling system

Hi,
How effective is the 1200RT cooling system in Summer time weather--hot!



I once swore that I would never own an air cool engine again because of the constant variance of how air cool bike run--depending on the air temperature.



I am interested to learn how the oil "thermostatically cooled" system work...and how well.
