I'm in need of a cable pull seat lock like this one on Fleabay (281985027452, attaching a link is beyond my skill level) but with a key. I think they are also fitted on some SV650's and GS500's. Anybody got one kicking about, or know how I could get a key cut for the one listed without breaking the bank ? Ta

Aye, I reckon I could make one of them work......... If you've got the key.

Very common on lots of Suzuki's.
I swapped a Hayabusa one one a GSXR tail.
B-King is a little different. Cable release but you lift the riders seat and pull the cable to release the passenger seat.
I'd imaging they'd be common in wreckers yards although they might want to keep them as a "set" with the ignition barrel using the same key.
I have fitted a cable release without the lock. Just put the cable somewhere you can reach it like under a side panel.

Thanks Tony but I'm looking for a discreet lock that I can put in a panel on the bottom of an alloy seat unit. The Busa one on Ebay would be perfect if only it had a key. Side panel........ erm, not got any.

Yeah, I didn't want a key / lock showing on my GSXR. The end of the cable was hidden up underneath. You had to reach under the bike behind the airbox and give the end a pull. Out of site and no key involved. I think I put a key-ring loop on it to make it easier to pull.
I understand your thinking. The one on the GSX1400 is under the tail so out of site when stood looking at the bike too.
They should be a common 2nd hand part but as I said, they are key's to the ignition and folk may not split the pair.
I don't think I have a spare but I will check.
