have done a bit of work over the last two days, took bike apart, removed engine, went to work on removing the snapped exhaust stud, had left it soaking in penetrating oil for the last week, took my blow gun to it tonight and a few sharp smacks from my trusty hammer had it moving. re fitted the engine.  didnt like the state of the cheap bolts fitted to the engine and its mounts so in my usual manner i changed them out with nice Stainless steel socket head bolts and nylock nuts that i had sat around!  |

now have just about all the bits i need to get things sorted,
new forks arrived yesterday, fitted the new carb and cable when i fitted the new throttle side switch gear, have to connect to the harness yet but need to remove the H/light to get at the connector first. couldnt be arsed at the time, so called it a night.
have had the battery on charge for the last few days, hoefully it will have enough charge to get it started, when i get round to attempting it.
