Just a heads up.
Heaps of Suzuki's with 07 / 08 builds and a few years after got new Reg/Rec under warrantee - recall.
Looks like you'll be getting another one soon. Gen-2 Busa, B-Kings etc etc. This is a 2nd recall and if you had the first one done or not its still on the cards.
The US and UK are already confirming this and I just spoke to someone from Suzuki Australia to say mine is on the to-do list.
Not a drama for me. Never had an issue in 8 years and its done in a few minutes but not a good look for Suzuki or their suppliers. At least they are not ignoring it.
Just thought I'd share.

I always think recalls are a reflection on the manufacturer admitting they don't always get it right, which is very commendable. Unlike Honda, who will never admit to getting anything wrong, they will always look for a third party reason for the failure. Suzuki had the front brake master cylinder recall on the same models too, tolerances are so tight in today's manufacturing processes it's no surprise that some may be a little too "under rated" for the purpose, so good on them for owning up to it. A mate of mine has the new R1 Factory rep, which has a fairly hefty price tag, and guess what? He just had a gearbox recall from Yamaha, a minute possibility that the gearbox could seize so they had to strip the entire engine and replace said gearbox and all the other related items foc, a ball ache sure, but again at least they admitted to it.
