Way back in time eeerrrrrm 2013 I think? Lol I insured my slabby for £3k but what are you guys insuring them for now?? Prices online have soared since then (you must have all seen the £10k 750 on ebay). It seems they are on sale for £3.5-£6k although some are around £2k give or take but not for mint. To get one at a good bargain price could take a loooooooong time.

On most auction sites they do. And this is for insurance purposes. If mine was to be stolen or written off they will look at market value and sites to see what they are selling for. A valuation by what someone managed to get one for wont be looked at. He could have got a lot more for it but if he was happy with that then that's fine. You say they ain't worth that but people are paying that. I think I'll look up the market value see what it says.
Oh the key word there was 'Collector'. They'll never pay what anything is worth.

When i got hit from behind........ the assor asked what i thought it was worth 6k i said as there is one on e.bay at that price  ? but because i had wrote it off before ha ha they wouldnt pay out 6k  ........ i did get a good deal in the end  .....as all way,s they are only worth what somebody will pay.......and they are paying daft money,s now for slabbies........I would say get a agreed value on it  |
