Not a lot I can do on the turbo Bandit till the AF gauge turns up but if I stay indoors I'll get dragged into cleaning or doing something I don't really wanna do !!!! Might just have to go in the cave a stare at the bikes for a while.

I've just set the wood burner going to warm the place up first. I really should be sorting the ignition switch on the car but it's pissing it down so I'll try and crack on with my frame. Anybody know anything about Peugeot 106 ignitions ?

Moved the car, did new plugs, filters etc. try and put the key back in but it will not go in ( turns out steering lock bit had failed, jamming it). Fit new pattern lock, be ok they say, just have the original key close by. Spins over but not firing no matter where I hold the original key, refit old lock minus the actual "lock" bit and turn the electrics bit with the original key next to it. Spins over but still not firing.
BTW. Plugs leads are back on in the right order and the chances of 4 new plugs being duff.....

Sorted ! 'Ive managed to make a working lock out of the new and old. The shitty pattern one did not light all the dash lights when turned on so I've used the old electrics bit with the new lock and, with the old key held close to fool the immobiliser, it starts. I've even managed to do another frame tube on my subframe. It's a right tricky little bugger as it starts off from a wider point and curves up to merge in with the seat rail at a very shallow angle. It came out that well it makes the first one I did for the other side look crap............ so I've got to redo that one. Buggeration !!!
