Been offered some low miles mark dent 570 barrels for my standard barrels should i go for it bearing in mind im using race carbs etc ?

Can't afford another set looking at 300 each the guy has his bored out to 570 but he's also telling me the fella he got them from has been at the ports and not mark dent ?? The bore kit is mark dent though tbh I'm not that keen on home tuned barrels and mine have 4000 miles on them

I'd steer clear of "home tuned" cylinders, especially when it's multi cylinder.

surely yours at only 4k and standard have far more value than the 570's. £300 each!!! fooking hell.
