I've finally got f*cked off with rip off BT charges for watching MotoGP and subsidising the cost of the lawn fairies kicking a pigskin bag around.
Has anybody got any suggestions for a cheaper way of watching this seasons races live ?

Simple, just fook it all off. I don have sky or any extra tv except freeview. I refuse to pay extra to watch what should still be on (world of sport) and yes with dickie Davis still presenting. Bloody tv sponsorship. I was watching barry sheene and Ron haslam yesterday on youtube.

I hear ya bud, it pains me too, this has been a slippery slope for years and we are now reaping the rewards for "pay per view" tv. Last year was the first year I couldn't watch any of it live because of the BT monopoly or the MotoGP access online for a years subscription, it spoilt the season for me having to watch everything on a re-run later in the week. It's always a shortened version with fuck all soul to it, not quality viewing at all. This year, I may have to suffer the cost of the online subs to benefit to the whole thing and give the finger the BT as they are just not an option in my book for anything. £150 a year is a bit steep for something that used to be free, but I don't have many pleasures in life so for me I would get my monies worth from it.

I didn't think it was on Eurosport live. Eurosport (at least in Holland) has the rights till 2017 for live streaming, I ve watched almost every race last year, including the early in the morning japan, australia, malaisia.

That's only any good if your in the 60-70% of the UK that bt infinity cover otherwise...the man from delmonte, he say no

I've just had a long conversation with BT and, after voicing my displeasure with every aspect of their service, pointing out that I have not agreed to them changing my contract and charging me for BT sport and that I could shift my whole package elsewhere for less money without penalty, they have, A. Agreed that I do not owe them for charges they have been applying for BT sport. B. Reduced my broadband charge by 60%. C. Reinstated Bt sport as a free part of my broadband package. So I'm now paying far less than I was for the same package and still enjoy the pause/rewind/record facility that comes as part of the BT's option (something I'm not sure you enjoy when watching online via MotoGP.com) They may have been within their rights to charge under the contract but I stuck at it and they caved in. Thanks to everybody for their help and advice, including the various "back door" options suggested via PM. Wink, wink.
