I remember every crash. But my first crash was about a week after I got my brand new kh100ex. I was riding past a school (still running it in) and was doing about 25mph when some stupid bitch called her son across the road. He decided to do the rabbit in headlights thing and I ran him over and came off. He jumped up called me stupid fucking wanker and him and his mum walked off like it never happened. Had lots of witnesses who saw it wasn't my fault though.
I've never had a big crash

Hmmmm the biggest I've had a few really lol I seized my rd 350 at about 125 under Dunlop bridge at donnington and sliding on my back in my leathers it burned my back down to my arse , then lost control of my ar 90 round a bend at 50 got caught in a tractor rut and hit a dry stone wall and the exhaust burned my England shell suit to my leg and fractured my feet still went work next day rode in slippers as my feet were that swollen couldn't get my boots on , then there was that jump I hit on a drz 400 on a enduro landed on top of another rider and the handlebar end impaled my groin and ball bag , and I hit a turning car on my 125 lc at 80 mph and went airborne and tore my overalls up my arse and it was covered in gravel rash , my cousins jammed the throttle open on my ar 90 I used to leave it in first gear and bump it had no kickstart it flipped and the footrest impaled my calf which they pissed themselves many more besides don't know which is the best all were pretty painful lol

Like many, I've had a few but my very first one scared the shite out of me. It was a mix of inexperience, poor weather and a couple of Christians. CB125twin, 17 years old, coming home from the birds house along the high street, pissing rain, pitch black, approaching a zebra crossing. I was behind a Hillman Hunter (look it up you young-uns!) 2 Christians walked straight out the Church and carried on out onto the crossing without waiting for anybody to slow or stop. Hillman stopped I didn't, bike layed down as I locked everything up in a vain attempt to stop in the wet, slid under the back of the car and got stuck under the boot with the bike. Women driver thought I was dead. I jumped straight up and tore a strip out of said Christians pointing out the error of their ways, looking round wondering what the fuck happened. Then remembered I should check myself over for anything broken, nothing other than bruised wrists (turns out as I put my arms out, my wrists stopped my going any further under the car) hitting the bumper. Amazingly, I picked up said Honda wasn't anything broken, it had crash bars fitted which saved everything by luck, tried to then calm the hysterical driver down as I went on my way. Her car had a huge dent under in the boot floor but she drove off shaking like a leaf. Don't recall ever exchanging details, but remember her saying the car wouldn't have passed another mot, so she wasn't that bothered. Took me a few days to realise how lucky I'd been, and thought fuck me, oh well that's the first one out of the way!

My bestist was at about 80mph at the top of the gooseneck at Cadwell park on my 600 hornet, my ambition started to out live my tallent, i miss read the corner, took off over the grass, landed on the track heading straight at the tyre wall, knew i had two choices........
Choice one, do nothing, try to turn and hit the barrier at high speed
Choice two, attempt to brake (on the grass!!!!) 99-100% chance of a crash, and see what happens
I chose option TWO, touched front brake lever, and i mean touched!!!! front washed out, face planted at very high speed on my left hand side. then things went BLUE, GREEN, BLUE, GREEN, BLUE for a while. bike doing summer saults along side me
next thing, i was beeing attended to by the track staff, guy made me laugh though, when he said "for one second i thought you had saved it" PMSL

I think I've been very lucky over the years and walked away from a few where I should have got far worse injuries.
I think my biggest was just after getting my B12 back on the road after a makeover ( the full works, PVM wheels, 6 pot AP's, full Akro, big cooler etc etc)
It was 02:30 in the morning on the way home from work and I'd arranged to meet a mate who worked similar hours for a beer at my house. There was a nice straight on the edge of the village that was perfect for a bit of wheelie practice so, flat in 2nd on the back wheel, into 3rd as it's starting to come down. "This is a good one" thinks I, all the way to it landing as I topped out in 3rd,
then it went a bit wrong.
I don't know if I put it down a bit on the piss or the light wheels removed a bit more stability than I thought but then next thing I know is I'm out the front door over the bars and now sliding down the road far faster than I like. I came to rest curled up in the gutter a looooong way down the road and feeling a bit second hand, next thing, my 'phone rings and it's my mate asking if I'd just come off ? He'd heard it from a mile away at my house.
Somebody in one of the houses got woken by the noise and called an ambulance with Plod turning up for a sniff who then decides to question me while the medic is assessing the damage.
"So, how fast were you going sonny ?" asks Plod (while surveying the trail of bits and oil up the road).
"29.8 mph".
Cue one pissed off Plod getting back in his car and driving off.
Injuries ? 3 bust ribs, snapped tendon in little finger, skin loss on arms/knees/back (work clothes on). Fortunately the road was very smooth so it was more friction burn than gravel rash. Bike ? Bars/clocks/light/tank/panels/left Harris rearset/engine cases/subframe at 90 deg sideways. Never found the battery but all the expensive bits survived with only a slight mark on the Akro and the forks bending the top feeds to the cooler when the lockstops broke. Remedial action ? Fit steering damper as part of rebuild.

A scarier one was a crash I didn't have.
Out on my road legal(ish) TZ250 and I'm catching my mate on his Z650 through a fast bend onto a straight. Out the corner and we're catching a car with one coming the other way but plenty of space so I swing out to pass mate and car. Just as I get level with him but 20mph faster, he pulls out to pass the car and clips me, shunting me across the road.
BANG !!!
I take the mirror off the oncoming car with my shoulder but stay on, car keeps going so I do the same. We all stop at the next set of lights and everybody is picking bits of glass off themselves when somebody points at my right leg.
I've taken the top layer off my leathers from knee to hip on the side of the car !!!
One inch further to the right and.........
