The current ongoing project... My late sons 750 K9 which was a write off and at my wifes' direction rebuilt it - a ground up rebuild. His Commemorative Bike I built to use for Memorial Runs annually. My Gsxr thou K8 The boys in all their glory And in the Mancave. GROUP PHOTO from 20th September 2014 Our Mascot 'Sparky" First memorial Ride run in 2012 I was given permission to use my sons bike by my wife. Standing besides me is Ben's long time school friend, Dan Briggs. To prove my bikes are always well housed, when I did a trip to visit some friends in March of 2015, I brought the bike into the motel room to sleep - pmsl

Yep agreed with the above. However that's no man cave but a palace. Wish my bike had a place like that to live.

That's impressive stuff mate, love it! Sorry to hear you lost your son though and it's touching to see the effort you have put in for a fitting tribute to his memory.

A collection of stunners you've got there. I thought the pics were taken in a bike showroom to start with.

The decision was made after my son passed to build a room and put everything in there we had together, past and present. Aside a ton of memories, this is all we have for each other. He still is the best of me, you cannot replace a "D'artagnan" At track dayz in Collie (about 200kms south of us) 2009 In the right hand side of this picture, you can see a stainless steal plaque which I had made, and dedicated to all the people on a local bike forum that donated money to take care of our family. After a discussion with the wife, we used it instead to rebuild his trusted steed called "Lightning" to keep both he and the bike alive. people from around the nation sent parts as well. My sons resting place is between the seat chassis rails that I modified to accept a box with his ashes in it, so they are always together, never apart. The paper inscription is what is on the plaque for anyone that visits with us. His dobermann Artarmus just happened to be in the picture at the time it was taken. They too were inseparable.

I think it's great everyone pulled together he must have been a larger then life person , l lost 2 mates a my cousin in a month all on bikes at different places one in America one at Buxton and my cousin locally in a freak accident my cousin was like my brother if not closer we did every thing together he battered me for most of my life with the Idea it will make me hard ha ha no one would let me buy the bike and all the family give up biking ,,, bar me as I know he would call me a gay lord if I did and probably stable my fingers together which was a common thing for him to do when I was small.
