I have used gsxr k1/2 thou pipes on my 11 slabby,s  but they need a bit of hard love too fit right [heat+scissor jack]  |

Short stroke ones are a bit short for the slabby, maybe you will need to change the sump.

Agreed, I was thinking more aftermarket jobbies.
I put some SBS/Black Widow B6 headers on my 750K motor. They're roughly 6mm wider internally than standard (double skinned) headers.
