The cleaning fluid arrived today so I've done a couple of basic runs
1. A scabby set of VM29ss carbs. Gave them a couple of 15 minute cycles with just the float bowls removed. It unstuck the seized accelerator pump parts and cleaned all the jets and threads out nicely. A quick rub with some Scotchbrite and the float bowls came up very nice.
2. Had a quick 10 minutes run with some parts of the filthy Akrapovic system I picked up. It didn't get the crud off but it was far easier to remove afterwards where emery paper and WD40 had been struggling. Worth a few more runs I think.
If anybody is close enough to drop by with any bits they need doing, they're welcome to do so but I'm not doing any postal stuff.

Back on topic while ignoring your collective Homo erotic fantasies.
I left a couple of the exhaust bits to soak overnight in the tank as it cooled down. I took them out earlier and a lot of the baked on crud wiped off, the more stubborn bits soon fell victim to a soft wire wheel in the drill. They've come up almost like new, ready for a final polish.
I know sitting in warm cleaning solution overnight will have helped but the other bits are now going in for 20 minutes.
