Well, that's me done until next year. I know some people are going to be working over the holidays but what has everybody got planned with any free time they've got ?
My plans are: 24th daytime. Do my dutiful visit to see Hinge + Brackett (my ageing Aunts) 24th evening. Drive to the remote cottage my other half has booked for 3 nights. Get there before her (she'll be at work), get the heating etc sorted and make sure we have "supplies" for 3 days. 24th-28th. Use your imagination !!!!!!!!! 28th-3rd. Do head gasket and brakes on my car in neighbours nice warm garage and I MUST get some work done on my bike. I've got a whole heap of stuff I need to get done in order to get it ready for Mr Fabricator in the new year. 3rd onwards. Get off my arse and get it finished.
Make Paddy's new tickover adjuster.

Not sure if I have any work tomorrow yet, but I'm home already today so I doubt it, but in my job anything is possible, much like everybody else's! I shall be mostly doing anything I bloody want to it's Christmas isn't it? Now I'm back to full mobility at last, I 'll probably do something to the zook, I must drain the oil out and put some fresh in to over winter it. Off down to see family next week for a few days, then back home just before going back to work on the 4th. Have a jolly nice time everybodypeeps. Merry Christmas.

Oh well, I'm off to Lancaster in the morning, got to assess a flood damaged machine see if it's salvageable. Then I'll be off back up the M6 like a scalded cat! Here's hoping it all goes well for you both Ken, a very stressful time without the added stresses of a pain ridden woman who is about to explode!

Eating unhealthy junk, getting a bit bevied up on southern softy comfort and jack daniels. I've already had way too much sugar.
The Ferero Roche cheese cake the wife's making is around 5k-6k calories ha ha.

5am, daylight, fed the dog and hens, sat out on the deck with a coffee listening to the rain. Not much but enough to put me off going Xmas shopping on the bike to miss the traffic. Wife is asleep in the aircon. It's still pretty warm here. Shopping centre open 24 hours for Xmas so might head off before the drunken masses wake up.

A hot Christmas is weird. Do you guys have cards depicting beach scenes or snow?

Bit of both. Lots of Pommies out here so red Robbins / snow / snowmen etc are still traditional. First few years it just didn't feel like Xmas, walk off the beach, 35 degrees, over the road in just trunks to get a cold drink or ice cream and the shop has Xmas decorations up and is playing Xmas carols !!! That's just wrong !!! I still think the UK celebrates Xmas better than out here, folk in the UK put more into it, but if I'm having 2 or 3 weeks off work I know where I'd rather be. Bugger tradition....
