I do like that red & black one. What I like about the srads and one of the reasons I've become a lover is the fat tank and what appears to be a long yoke making it quite a wide clip on position. Well deffo looks fat and wide compared to my slabbitch.

the red and black one was the last of the srads fuel injected,a very smooth bike to ride but the carb version was more fun as the power came in with a big bang Now this is my concern about getting a fuel injection gsxr. A more linear delivery is why I hated four strokes as all the ones i rode prior to my slabby were boring as feck. I craved that sudden kick in power and that's why I like my slabby so much. I also went -1 on the front sprocket but it was down on power so wouldn't lift.

If so then I would say you need to work on your technique as I have the same slabby 750 motor, I weight more than 15st and I can lift the front wheel ok

Yes, it was down on compression. I was just cracking the throttle open at around 6•5-7k hovering on the powerband then crack it open. I don't want to clutch it up or do the close/open throttle technique.

I haven't tried clutching it up on mine yet As it happens....the srad 600 I found one of the easiest bikes to lift the front wheel and keep up for ages
