I'll find a pic Haha, that should say shaft but shat appears to be more apt |

250 / 400 / 500 / 650 were chain drive twins.
750 / 850 were shaft drive triples.
1100 was a shaft drive four.

Yeah, I was talking Yam's.
The Suzuki 850 a shaft, as was some of the 1000's.
(both 8 valve head inline 4's)

I was talking to a guy today who was out on a GS1100 shaft.
Not seen many of those. Funny, being an old 8 valve GS design
it was on sale for a year or two after the 16 valve GSX came out.
I guess it offered shaft drive that the GSX range didn't.

Yeah, I was talking Yam's. The Suzuki 850 a shaft, as was some of the 1000's. (both 8 valve head inline 4's) I didn't even realise it was a Yamaha lol.....now where my rock? I want to go hibernate again |
