So enjoyed the NEC bike show today. Bagged myself a HJC helmet for 39 quid and a rear paddock stand for 19.

Yes complete bastard it's been I think it's the longest I've ever looked at something trying to figure it out , I bought it the last owner had fitted a new barrel and piston and the problem was it wouldn't Rev I did a compression test and it was low so bought a 70 kit for it had to squish test it as the heads were different so put 2 base gaskets on so piston wouldn't hit as you can't get a ditech 70 head put it together it ran but started missing at high revs so pressure tested the fuel pump , crank driven air compressor to supply the air to the air injecter which were all fine tested the throttle position sensor and that was slightly above reading so got one off eBay which was a load of shit the carbon tracts in it were fucked , so then checked the fuel pressure regulater and it was full of gunk as where there is I compressor there is moisture this builds up in the pressure bowl and you get water in the mixture so fitted a water trap between the compressor and injector but it wasn't much good so I set about converting to carb I took the barrel of again put one base gasket back on then put the 70 head on , took the compressor off and blanked it with a plate put a modified reed block on and a dellorto 17.5 carb on with a 80 jet it fired up straight away but wouldn't Rev so sussed out that the throttle position sensor must alter the timing at high revs so I made a cable that pulls the carb slide and the throttle position sensor at same time and bingo revs flat out so yes it's been a head fuck but no two stroke has had me yet but this twat has give me sleepless nights lol
