R.I.P. Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor. MOTORHEAD. Passed away 11th November 2015. 1/3rd of Motörhead at their best. Thanks for the tunes bloke. You were appreciated and will be remembered.

I posted this up in the old forum , but it sort of got buried under other "issues". I have a pic of myself on an FS1E with a Motörhead shirt. Always liked the original line up (saw them so many times!) My play list in the car includes Ace of Spades, Overkill, No Class, Bomber, We are the Road Crew, Poison, Louie Louie, Shoot you in the back, The Hammer, Bite the Bullet, The chase is better than the catch, etc etc etc. Solid hard tunes with a nice raw edge. No fancy shit, just 3 blokes playing some good unpretentious tunes.

I can't believe I missed his death, but I have just read it wasn't very well publicised but Lemmy had wrote to kerrend go and said he was sad as he was his best friend and was pissed off cause he's dead and George bush is still alive
