No, not kind of amp, AMP electrical/automotive loom connectors like these ones. China do a roaring trade in these off the internet auction site, they are the very same as what you can buy in this country for 10 times the cost. I've just bought another 50 pieces in three different sizes and they arrived in 10 days again, top quality for a tenth of the cost. A bargain in my eyes.

Nice. I've always wondered if they were the same things because like you say they're fecking expensive here

Yes, linkage please! Planning on making my own harness for the Kat and need an inexpensive good connector source... if you think those are expensive over there, try it with the Australia tax

How big are they physically? Still humming and harring about what to do on the Kat harness... would love to go Deutsch coz they're so small but they're way too expensive even off eBay. One of the fellas locally here has a bunch of the stock type connectors available cheaply but they're not weather/water proof which I would prefer. My only concern with these AMP ones is if they're too bulky for neat routing...

I'll get some measurements for you over the next few days, and take some pics. I'm a bit busy for the next couple of days but after that. If you're smart with the wiring Pete, you can keep the connectors out of sight anyway, so sizes not so much of an issue. I made my loom up so that all my connectors are in the front end behind the fairing and clock set-up.

Cool cheers mate, that'd be awesome!
And you're spot on there, I'm hoping to have most of my stuff hidden away in the front cowl also and hopefully the other work I'm doing gives me some more hidey spots too.

Ok bud, here's some samples...... They're basically all the same length regardless of how many ways, they are also pretty much the same thickness. These are all connected sets male/female. Approx' 50/55mm in length.

Awesome cheers for that! That helps a great deal Being that size I think I'm gonna go with the stock style ones as they're much more compact. With the plans I have for the custom harness I'll have a few extra relays and things around so space will probably end up a premium I'm thinking... Cheers!
