Another interesting one is a tyres age.
Every tyre should have a date stamp. It's in the mould and gets changed weekly. It has a 4 number tag. Two numbers for the week, two numbers for the year.
Eg: 2611 means it was made the 26th week of 2011.
Some folk I know are very fussy about this, others think its over rated. The guys racing big $$ Sportsbikes around here don't fit the older tyres.
