Thanks mate. It's going to take some putting together, just been taking some measurements as it is, the front would be 5 inches lower than the original set up with a 19" wheel, that may be too much so I'll get a top yoke made with an inch drop to lift it another inch. 4 inch difference should be about right, but until I can start bolting things together it's all in my head.  |

Moulding of the seat now finished, just more finishing off to do then finalise the fitting. I wanted to use the original mudguard mounts which kind of made sense, so moulded the seat to fit those.   Pleased how it looks too, will be able to mount the seat unit very soon and use the original fixings in the frame for the original seat. I don't want to chop anything off the frame or do anything that can't be reversed, so I aim to use the original mounts were possible, it's all working out well after a bit of thinking.  Loosely inserted the front forks to get some measurements of what and how I'm going to attack it. As it lies there, the front and rear spindles are equally distanced from the bench, so it was a good starting point to work out some ideas.  |
