Been doing these for the last 10 or 11 years with mates. we normally pick the weekend closest to the 1st of April (unless its Easter, then we change the date to avoid it)
Started off as a group of mates picking a pub / town and heading to it. we move the location so its not always close to one group and over 1000 miles for others.
Then, as time went on it grew, untill we ended up hiring a whole campsite, and the airstrip next door and taking the fence down in between! Bands, beer tent, bike show, stunt riders etc.
After one years floods, financial disaster and a death, it's gone back to its roots. Mates traveling from far and wide to meet up at a pub in the back of nowhere!

Last year a few of us went to Walcha NSW. Not near anything noteable, but bikers love it due to the excellent roads in that area. The Oxley Highway and Waterfall Way etc are great bike roads. I was working late Friday so went down Saturaday / back Sunday. 375 miles each way to have a Pizza and coke with mates. Few snaps. This year is going to be Walcha NSW again, so next weekend is going to be a guaranteed 800+ miles.

I enjoyed playing a game of 'where's wally' in them group pics lol
The one with the wheel to wheel burnouts was the best one but I found wally. It's funny looking for the bearded shades man rather than a stripey hat.

Quick spin this morning and home before this afternoons showers. Found a couple of places open on an Easter Monday. Got a big chain lube to go in the shed and a tiny one to take away. Filled the B-King to the brim with Premium 98, checked the chain, tyres and oil, gave the wheels a clean. All good to go South next weekend. The 14 is up to spec too. If the weather turns bad the 14 will be going. (If its crappy weather the 14 takes luggage, dry clothes, water proofs etc and I won't be chasing Busa's and B-Kings full bore in the rain) King won't take my tank bag, won't take throw over panniers, can't even get a tiny can of chain lube or a disc lock under the seat because I have already squeezed a puncture repair kit in. Stupid bike... LOL... I love it.
