Couple of my favourites... Custard Apples.  Moreton Bay Bugs. (Type of local Lobster)  Something that's common in fish or fish and chip shops is "flake". Locals know what it is but tourists don't seem to realise its shark. |

In my days as a Edinburgh black cabbie I came across some right fucking weirdos from graveyard ponces to black guys running through a park with a stolen telly but one night I had some Aussies ask me to take them to this chippy that sold DEEP FRIED MARS BAR !!!!!!!! Wtf Seen a couple of places in the UK doing Deep Fried Mars Bars, one place was doing Deep Fried Cadbury Cream Eggs for Easter. |
