A couple of years ago I made a humane trap. Basically it was a tub very carefully propped up and placed a treat underneath. I can't remember what it was but the trap would have worked if the wife hadn't already killed it. It was hiding under the rower seat and the she moved the sear and squashed it. We wondered where it went lol. Oh and we had the mouse because one of the cats brought it in for us. Very proud of herself too.

I don't like killing them, but if you have to, do it as humanely as you can. Most mouse traps on the market are shit, you end up catching a leg or a tail, they can have a  on some of them before the traps go off! The ones I have always used and recently purchased more, are "Kness" traps, best on the market and very sensitive, killed everyone in the right way. I was given one by a pest controller at my last job, he swore by them, never a missed trap! Hopefully things should calm down a bit now, we normally catch about 8 or 9, but we left it a bit too long this year in putting the traps out. |
